Project
The WYK Digital team required an agency to help them develop a training programme for their UX cohort. This included creating bespoke content to develop entry-level understanding of key aspects of User Experience Research, Design and Testing. These bespoke sessions also covered challenging topics such as quantitative analysis and reporting and the future of UX in an XR era.
The sessions needed to be interactive, so a practical aspect to each training session was created to help the cohort practice what they had just learned during the session.
In addition to teaching new material bi-weekly, the trainer joined Q&A sessions with the cohort every week to answer questions on entering the UX industry and practical tips on creating a portfolio of work.
In the final week of the programme, I created a project brief from a fictitious client, which the teams responded to by delivering an agency-style presentation in person.
Key learning and takeaways
Where possible, create your content collaboratively with experts in the field to make sure your content is up-to-date and relevant.
Ask for feedback after every training session, to ensure the programme content and delivery meets the needs of the cohort.
